Social music is proving so disruptive that we are now able to access music at any time in almost any location with certain streaming applications on the iPhone and Android. My hat is well and truly off to those who have continued to innovate and embrace the new digital medium, rather than fight a long-lost war. Perhaps most notable in this age of social music is that music is no longer simply consumed, the process is much more participative, and one of sharing.
